Swimming
- Frith
has it's own superb indoor heated swimming pool. It is heated
all year round and so whatever the weather outside, it is
always warm and ready for use.
Tennis
courts - are
available locally for a small charge. Horse
riding - Can
be arranged by Susan and Markham at the adjacent stable. Carriage
rides by Victorian landau to a local pub for lunch are not
to be missed!! |

Golf - There
are several golf courses in this part of Kent. Royal St. George's
at Sandwich, which is 30 minutes by car.
Belmont course at Faversham is the most local. Leeds Castle,
Boughton and Bearsted courses are all just a short distance
away.
A golfing holiday would be so easy to organise in this area.

Walking
- Frith
Farm House is just a couple of miles from the Pilgrims Way
and North Downs Way. In fact they merge for a few miles at
this point.
The country lanes as well as the footpaths wind through woods
and fields. In spring the woods are full of bluebells edged
with primroses. The footpaths too are full of cowslips and
ox slips, and walking the lanes is open to all.
The Swale estuary, to the north at Faversham at Oare, has
wonderful walks along the river edge. This is a Royal Society
for the Protection of Birds site. Miles of walking along the
river bank watching birds and nature at its best.
Whitstable is just a short drive away. Fascinating old harbour
where fresh fish of all varieties can be purchased. There
are excellent restaurants over-looking the beach serving delicious
meals.
Seasalter, just next to Whitstable, has a wind surfing and
sailing club. It's fun to watch, if you don't take part.
